Global #struckbylightning Simulcast Event A Social Media Success

Irvine CA: Salesforce pulled off a live global simulcast event with 120 viewing parties and an estimated 20,000 viewers. It will become a case study for other technology companies on how to create a buzz, gather a community and execute a live event.

GoldCamera mobile app was used by attendees to create event branded photos at locations worldwide. Over 200 social media posts were created from 15 locations around the world. Salesforce made a $5 donation to Charity:Water for each photo shared.

GoldCamera will also be featured at Dreamforce September 15th – 18th in San Francisco.
